Headingley Carnegie Stadium

The home of Leeds Rhinos, Yorkshire Carnegie, and Yorkshire County Cricket Club

Headingley Carnegie Stadium is the home of Yorkshire County Cricket Club, as well as Leeds Rhinos Rugby League and Yorkshire Carnegie Rugby Union clubs.

Since opening its turnstiles in 1890, fans have seen generations of jubilant successes and emotional losses on the hallowed turf. Split into two conjoined stadiums, the cricket ground resides on the Northern side, meaning you can grab a pint in the blistering Yorkshire sunshine whilst watching one of the finest cricket teams in the land hit sixes all day long. The rugby ground takes up the Southern area of the complex, hosting both Union and League games to a crowd that can reach 21,000.

The Headingley Carnegie Stadium is famed for its intimidating atmosphere; why so many teams hate visiting it. Join the masses and lend your voice to support our county’s sportsmen. It’s better than going to Elland Road!

The stadium is also host to the Rugby Union finale of Varsity- the huge, annual sports competition held between students of Leeds Becket and The University of Leeds.
